The Higgins Armory Museum evolved from a private collection of arms and armor from medieval and Renaissance Europe, Feudal Japan and ancient Greece and Rome into a world-renowned museum. It is the largest museum of arms and armor in the Western Hemisphere. The Armory's collection, displayed in a Gothic castle setting is extensive. The European portion consists of 3,000 armors and components, 1,000 weapons and accessories, 500 swords and daggers; 100 firearms; a tapestry, stained glass, paintings, and wood carvings. In addition, the non-Western collection comprises 1,000 African, Islamic, Indian, and Japanese body defenses and arms.
Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester, MA is a post from: Massachusetts Tourism

The Blackstone Valley Fall Family Festival and Craft Fair is organized by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Association. This year, our agritourism focus includes exploring a new 5-acre corn maze, taking a hayride, watching horseback riding and jumping demonstrations, viewing exhibits by local 4-H clubs, and visiting the Barnyard Midway.

Kids will certainly enjoy playing miniature golf, watching Bo Bo The Clown build them a balloon character, getting their face painted or checking out all the animals in the barnyard midway.

You will also be able to purchase crafts from local vendors. We'll have a variety of jewelry, jams, Pampered Chef products, Cabot Cheese samples, pearls and lots more! Be sure to check out our complete list here.

Watch history come alive with the End Zone Militia, the Revolutionary War Re-enactors seen at all Patriots' home games.
