Blackstone Valley Fall Festival, Northbridge, MA

The Second Annual Premier One-Day Valley Agritourism Festival returns October 9, 2010

Bring the family out for some fun on the farm at the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Tourism Association’s Fall Family Festival and Craft Fair. The third annual fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Oct. 8 at Northbridge High School, 427 Linwood Ave, Whitinsville, MA. Rain date is Sunday, October 9th

Thousands attended last year’s Valley agritourism event, which features a variety of demonstrations, exhibits, vendors and food concessions. This year’s festival features a  a cow chip bingo contest, Mini-whinnies, adorable miniature horeses, a quilting bee and exhibits by local 4-H clubs, and the Barnyard Midway. Also included free cheese samples of Vermont made cheese from Cabot Creamery, hayrides and entertainment by Bobo The Clown. A wide variety of crafts, many with a country theme, will be available to view and purchase.

Agriculture plays a vital role in the history and economy of the Blackstone Valley,  come out and have a fun, relaxing day celebrating the Valley’s agricultural tradition.
Visitors can also learn about the rich history of the Blackstone Valley.
